BIO
My academic career spans two decades and half teaching core courses in Architecture and Interior design. I have guest curated architectural exhibitions centered on Miami’s historic architecture: A Concrete Presence: The architecture of Miami Dade College 1960-70, Miami Bungalows and Opa Locka Mirage City. As a Fulbright Garcia Robles Scholar (2022) I taught graduate courses on American architecture at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. My pedagogy and research interests aim to achieve a disciplinary exchange between architectural design and diverse fields of knowledge; sociology, science, humanities, through the lens of South Florida design environment.
